Being invigorated by Positive Psychology, Appreciative Enquiry and Thinking Environment led Shan to believe that people are a powerhouse to effect their own change. He attended the London College of Coaching and followed up a few years later with the Wits Personal and Business Coaching Certificate. He is also a certified Assessor.

Shan does not see clients as having problems, deficient is some way or to be fixed. He believes that there is so much muscle within each individual, and by partnering with them in a positive, generative approach within a thinking environment they are the agents of their own change. With 14 years of personal and business coaching experience, he is convinced that coaching can unlock individual potential.

Shan has a degree in Education from the University of Durban-Westville, and at a young age of 29, was appointed Inspector of Art Education. Ten years later he joined the SABC as senior producer responsible for programmes such as Prime Time, Police File, Pop Shop and No Jacket Required. He then formed his own company Prime Time International producing award winning shows for SABC, MNET and E-TV.

Shan is passionate about teaching and giving back to the industry. He chaired several Film and TV Boards. The vast and diverse experience makes Shan an ideal personal and business coach.
