We Are The Leader In Learning Interventions

Awakening Excellence was founded in 2004 by Dr Mariam Sha in the belief that people have the talent and resources within them to achieve their purpose and contribute fully to organisations. This was the start to her journey of supporting people and organisations to become more engaged and productive.

Over the years the business has evolved to meet the needs of companies, organisations and people, remaining relevant and aligned to current thinking and research in the space of people management and development.

In recent years through Dr Sha’s research and background as an accountant, Awakening Excellence has increasingly focused on the impact of learning interventions on individuals, teams and organisations. Hearing the needs of business, Dr Sha now specialises in calculating the meaningful return on investment in learning interventions. Several of her recent talks at conferences in South Africa and internationally have been on measuring the benefits of learning and development and applying the results for continuous improvement in the business.
